How to apply: Wellcome Trust Funded PhD studentships

 

Before applying, please make sure you are eligible by checking the details of eligibility for Wellcome Trust PhD studentships.

 

All applicants must submit:

  • An online UCL Graduate Student application form

  • A single file containing your current CV and a supporting statement.

It is important that you read the UCL guidance notes carefully before starting your online application.

Once you have read the guidance notes you can submit an application online using the UCL Graduate Student application form.

Important: The full title of the programme is 'Research Degree: Wellcome Trust Structural, Computational and Chemical Biology (4 years)'. The course code is 'RRDSCCS4WL01'.

Your CV and supporting statement

You must submit a single .pdf or MS Word file containing a current CV and a one page supporting statement explaining why you wish to follow this PhD programme.

Providing references

You will need to provide details of your referees as part of the online application. The UCL application system will contact your referees automatically using the email addresses you provide.

Important: your application will not be processed until both your referees have submitted their references. You will receive an email after each reference has been completed.

Deadline for applications

Completed applications must be received by 5pm on Friday 5 January 2018.

Shortlisting and interview dates

Shortlisting: Thursday 18 January 2018
All completed applications will be shortlisted on this date. Invitations to attend interview will be sent soon afterwards.

Interviews: Thursday 25 and Friday 26 January 2018
