The Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Programme of the ISMB brings together researchers interested in molecular cell biology, cell signalling and metabolic regulation, and molecular microbiology. While the research interests of the individual PIs in the programme are quite diverse, they are connected through an overall interest in cellular processes, the use of similar molecular and biochemical techniques, and the use of excellent core facilities.
The interdisciplinary nature of the ISMB encourages members of the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Programme to link with researchers from the other programmes and to generate interdisciplinary research projects.
